About Trina Renee Nicklas

 

Ms. Nicklas  taught and made art in South Florida for 22 years.  She has been the recipient of one of the largest individual grants in the United States, the Cultural Consortium Grant of South Florida which culminated in a special exhibition  at the Fort Lauderdale Museum of Art.  She has also been a recipient of a New Forms Florida Grant that was funded by the Andy Warhol Foundation, Rockefeller Foundation, and the National Endowment of the Arts.  Her  work has been shown both locally and nationally.  She continues to be active teaching and making art.
